Going to spend my Friday night watching Safety Not Guaranteed.
I’m hoping it lives up to expectations; It’s got a great cast (Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass, Jake Johnson..), and the trailer makes it out to be one of those quirky indie movies that I can’t help but like.

Finally watched Seven Psycopaths yesterday.
Martin Mcdonagh has struck gold again.
A great cast with a twisting/intertwining fun story thats well scripted and shot equals a great film.

One of the best documentaries that I have watched in a while.
I grew up skating and blading and this brought all the memories back, and made me wish I still had a skateboard lying around.
It’s an amazing history behind skateboarding and the guys that helped make it what it was, the interviews with everyone involved are incredible and the soundtrack and clips were spot on.
Now excuse me while I go and find more skating documentaries and videos to watch.

I watched Argo last night and I have to agree with a lot of people that this is certainly up there as one of the great films of the year.
Ben Affleck seems to be doing a great job in his career switch from just acting to taking on this directing/acting role in his movies.

Watched Looper this weekend.
Just as good as everyone said it was, if not better.

I saw End of Watch over the weekend, and it was one of the best films I’ve seen in a while.
The amateur/home movie style cinematography worked, Gyllenhaal and Peña had great chemistry as a team on screen, great dialogue, great soundtrack, I do think there were a few odd moments that didn’t work that stopped it from being spot on perfect, but generally speaking it was a great movie.

Saw Skyfall last night. I didn’t think the film was perfect, but it was a superbly well shot film and kept me interested.

Watched Prometheus last night for the first time after I missed out on the opportunity to see it in the cinema. Superbly shot film by Ridley Scott, and Fassbender as the android David was incredible. It answered a few questions in terms of the whole Aliens franchise but also raised a few more questions I felt.
All in all though, well worth watching.

Watched Premium Rush this afternoon. It’s a pretty good movie, it’s not prefect, but it’s fast paced, kept my attention and I can’t ever fault a film when it involves NYC as much as it does.
