This has become the song of the day because I managed to get a ticket for Refused’s show at the Forum in London on the 12th August. Wasn’t going to miss one of their two non-festival shows in the UK.

Yeah, they’ve still got it.
Personally, I’d love to see them in a venue this size or smaller, it’s just one of those gigs that would perfectly suit it, even though they are more than adequately doing their band, music, and shows justice at festivals like Coachella and the others they will be playing through the summer.

Refused are not fucking dead.
Footage is starting to surface from their first performance together in 13 years at a secret hometown reunion show in Umeå, Sweden a week ago (there seems to be an abundance of these videos, which I’m thankful for, but come on people, put down the cameras and enjoy the show yourselves).
Seeing the videos and photos has also made me realise that I wouldn’t want to see this band on a festival stage, but I would do anything to see them in a small capacity club up close and personal.
